On 6/22/09 USCIS announced that effective 06/29/2009, it will resume Premium Processing Service for Forms I-140, Immigrant Petitions for Alien Worker.

Premium processing for I-140s had been suspended and unavailable for most types of I-140s since Summer 2007.

The resumption of this service now means that USCIS will accept premium processing for all  EB1, EB2, and EB3 cases, except for EB1 Multinational Executive Transferees and EB2 National Interest Waiver cases.

The USCIS charges an additional $1000 filing fee for this service. For this fee, USCIS will, within 15 calendar days, either: 1) approve the case, 2) issue a notice of intent to deny (NOID), 3) issue a request for evidence (RFE), OR 4) open an investigation for fraud/misrepresentation.

USCIS also provides a dedicated telephone number and e-mail address to facilitate communication regarding the case.
